Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart Review
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces the addition of contribution levels Ralliart 4WD sports sedan trim Galant Fortis series. The new model raises the bar of driving pleasure while preserving all the qualities of utility and convenience of the basic model. Ralliart comes with a price tag of ¥ 2,982,000 and will be available from affiliated agents throughout Japan today.
Launched in August 2007 Mitsubishi Galant Fortis (known as Mitsubishi Lancer outside Japan) MMC sedan first new model in seven years. It was also accepted by customers looking primarily for use in day-to-day, plus a sense of sporty performance, while the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X to find a driver that supports the wish to enjoy a serious sport driving experience, participation in motorsport events included. Interior
The interior uses an elegant system of deep black color while the dashboard features an ornamentation panel comprising a geometric pattern and silver beads check pin that adds a mechanical taste and gives the cockpit a sporty, high quality appearance.Will call the device a unique cluster that uses matte black faces with white high contrast graphics for excellent legibility.
Steering wheel and shift knob wrapped in genuine leather luxury. Aluminium accelerator and brake pedals are equipped with non-slip rubber strips.Front seat occupants safe and comfortable stay positioned and use high-grip suede-knit upholstery. Shoulder carrying Ralliart tag partner.
Machine
Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart is powered by the intercooler-turbocharged 4B11-type 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC MIVEC high-performance engines. With a focus on low to mid-range torque, the engine uses a single-scroll turbo. Optimization of cooling and exhaust system stimulates the production of maxima of 177 kW (240 PS) / 6000 rpm and 343 Nm (35.0 kg-m) / 3000 rpm.
Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart back 10-15 mode combined driving pattern fuel consumption of 10.2 km / l (filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism), and earned three star rating for emissions that are 50% better than the Japanese emission standards in 2005.
Transmission
Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart Mitsubishi is equipped with dual-clutch SST (Sport gearbox) automated manual transmission that allows the driver both fun and economy manual gearbox and the convenience and comfort of an automatic transmission. The Twin Clutch SST used on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X has been changed to Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart with different gear ratios for 5 and 6 to provide improved fuel economy at high cruising speeds on long trips.
The driver can choose between two modes of automatic movements: normal for fuel economy and maximum comfort in everyday driving and Sport with shift characteristics best suited for athletic performance.
Full-time 4WD system
Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart uses a full-time 4WD system consisting of a front helical limited slip differential, an Active Center Differential and a mechanical rear LSD. These components as well as Active Stability Control and Anti-lock Braking all the electronics and integrated managed by Mitsubishi vehicle dynamic control system to provide the optimal balance between steady traction and steering feel, cornering and braking.The driver can select between three ACD modes: dry asphalt for paved surfaces; gravel to asphalt surfaces are wet or loose unmade, and snow for snow covered surfaces.
Body and chassis
Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart uses Mitsubishi RISE safety body that gives high stiffness increases multi-directional crashworthiness in frontal impacts, rear and sides. Front bumper, hood, fenders and hood are designed to enhance pedestrian protection.
